Microsoft Announces Convenience Rollup Updates for Older Versions of Windows

Windows 7 Service Pack 1 was released in February 2011 and no further combined updates has been released for the seven year old OS. That meant massive downloads of updates for any new system installs but that is now a thing of the past.
