Microsoft has now decided that support, known as Servicing in the Windows as a Service era, for the original release of Windows 10 will end on 09 May 2017 – next month’s Patch Tuesday.

The Redmond company has decided to extend support for the original version of Windows 10 out until May instead of ending it on 26 March 2017.

Since the initial release of Windows 10 back in July of 2015, that initial version of Windows 10 is about to be shuffled out of its role as one of the two CBB releases. That means no further updates in just a little more than 60 days.
