Is keyword search becoming obsolete in the new age of forensic digital investigation?
As the bulk of investigative activity moves from paper to digital documents, keyword searching became the primary tool for identifying relevant evidence in a data set. However, keywords can be imprecise. A search may miss important items or return too many irrelevant results. As data volumes grow, investigators must trawl through ever increasing numbers of search results to find the information they seek.
Traditional digital investigation tools present these results in lists and tables. It quickly becomes too much for the human mind to take in. The key areas of responsibility will include
● Provide high quality technical support to Nuix customers and ensure that all Nuix clients’ technical outcomes are being met
● Respond to technical support tickets as well as direct customer calls providing first level support
● Triage all issues and, if escalation is required, ensure that all relevant information has been collected and evaluated to ensure rapid resolution
● Assist with Nuix’s current Quality Assurance program to including testing, test writing and use case modelling
● Assist with improving Nuix online documentation
● Develop in-depth expertise in select areas of Nuix related technical knowledge
